When we first talked about starting Machynlleth Comedy Festival above of all we wanted to create somewhere where people came to have fun, and get away from it all, whether this be the attendees, the comedians or the festival team. It was all about taking a different approach with an aim of creating a spirit of experimentation and intimacy. We’re passionate about the thrill of seeing live comedy in intimate places, and the glorious, picturesque and enchanting town of Machynlleth gave us a wealth of interesting and unique performance spaces in which to do this.

Most of all we want people to laugh, have a great time and find a warm welcome in the heart of Wales.

Carry on Dubbin 2018 will return to “Moat Lane Showground” on 25th to 28th May as always the second bank holiday

3 nights and 4 days at our family chilled out weekend full of fun, live music and entertainment.

Our theme this year is Carry on England – so fancy dress is army or anything to do with England.

Friday 15th June:

Gates Open 2pm for Advanced Ticket Holders only, 3pm for other visitors.
Find your space in one of our 3 camping areas & set-up camp for the weekend.

Visit our Trade stalls, grab a meal with our caterers or fire up the barbie ..then from around 7pm join us in the Bus Barn for an evening of entertainment hosted by our BSO DJ's Mr P & DJ Aztek. The bar will be open plus you are able to bring in a sensible amount of your own drink but no glass bottles please!

Saturday 16th June:

Gates open 8am for Day Visitors, close at 10pm.
Visit our wide range of Traders, Caterers, Kids Entertainment with The Party Workshop & take part in our events planned for the day including:-

BSO is renowned for its quality live acts & 2017 will be no different.

Sunday 17th June:

Gates open 8am for Day Visitors.
Sunday is the main day for showing off your prized Bus with lots of trophies on offer for all ages & models of VW's.
Simply drive your VW to the main arena from 10am, follow the directions of the crew & complete a small contact form.
Our judges will look around your VW & inform the lucky winners ready for the Trophy Presentation at around 2pm.

We'll have more Wacky Races, Pedal Powered Cruises, The Party Workshops, Trade Stalls & Caterers until we close at 4pm.

LlanBikeFest is run by a group of North Wales enthusiasts who are mad about bikes of all kinds – on road, off road, racing, touring, classics and custom. If they have two wheels (or three at a pinch), we love ‘em – including scooters! That’s why LlanBikeFest is an ‘International Festival of Motorcycling’. A celebration of biking – not just a show.

After last years over whelming turn out we have managed to secure a new venue to cater for our classic VW show. The beautiful Revesby country park is a short drive inland from the coast, the estate grounds weave and dip over hundreds of Acres of country estate and deer park.

The August Bank Holiday weekend sees Camper Calling return for 3 nights at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire.

Amazing music from your best loved bands, as well as introducing you to your new favourites! Combine that with family entertainment, adventure playgrounds, loads of activities including craft workshops, lake activities and some seriously tasty food & drink, you'll be as busy - or as chilled out - as you choose!

V-Dubs In The Valley 2018 : The family friendly Shropshire VW Show

Surfs up! 2018 brings the 5th V-Dubs In the Valley, the best loved VW Show in Shropshire, and this year it’s Hawaii Beach Theme, so dig out your hula skirts, don a bikini and come and catch a wave HAWAII Style.

Once again offering some of the best entertainment and bands in Shropshire and the West Midlands, with the focus being on a fun family weekend with great music and entertainment from the 80’s 90’s and 00’s.

Dubs In't Dales is a family friendly, relaxed show,

We have various fun activities taking place throughout Saturday, with live music on both Friday and Saturday night. We also hold a cruise on Saturday evening, usually about 2 hours taking in the local sites then stopping for a photo opp. and a quick visit to a local pub. The show and shine takes place on Sunday morning.
